About Flavor
We offer a creative and diverse vision for each and every event we cater.
In 2005, owner Jason Crockarell opened Flavor Catering & Special occasions using a borrowed kitchen and a staff of one. Today, Flavor has found a home of its own in the Carothers Building in Franklin, TN, where Jason runs the Carother's Cafe in addition to serving as co-owner of Bishop's Meat & Three. His quick rise to success can be attributed to his depth of experience as a chef and his ability to create classic, authentic dishes with a twist.
Jason and his solid staff of chefs and servers have many years of experience in providing eatable entertainment. With each new event, their team works together to ensure that you will not regret using Flavor Catering over other ordinary provoders. Flavor's experts work to provide a little extra zest with each menu item and realize that it's the smallest thing that can make your event most memorable.
In the few short years that they have been in business, Flavor has created meals with flair for clients including Musicians Hall of Fame, Baptist Hospital, Biomimetic, Ingram Books, Vanderbilt Medical Center, Healthspring, HCA, Ford Motor Company, and Wachovia, just to name a few.
"Our chefs enjoy the challenge that come with custom-making menus for executive socials, intimate settings, and large group events," Jason enthuses. "We try our best to serve without limitations in providing the most colorful, flavorful and exceptional cuisine possible at each event. if a client wants to eat it, we'll find a way to serve it in the most tantilizing and cost-effective manner possible." It is this platform that sets Flavor above the rest. For they aim to not only please, but to make feasting dreams come true.
After getting Flavor up and running, Jason partnered with Nick Bishop who had an extensive food service background and opened Bishop's Meat & Three in Cool Springs. Bishop's has developed a loyal following and received recognition for being one Franklin/Williamson County's Best Meat & Three.
In 2008, Nick and Jason continued their partnership in developing & managing the food service program for The Carothers Building in Cool Springs. Two years later, they were asked to be the food service provider for St. Paul Christian Academy in Green Hills. The acquisition of these great accounts brought on the creation of Flavor Culinary Management.
