Q: What is the price of a meal if my child does not participate in the semester plan?
A: K-1 price is $3.50 and includes entrée, 1 side, dessert, and a beverage.
Grades 2-6 price is $5.50 and includes entrée, 2 sides, dessert, and choice of beverage.
Q: Where can I go to set up my child’s food service account?
A: The on-line site for setting up a student’s food service account is www.mealpayplus.com.
Q: Where do I find my child’s Student ID to sign up for Meal Pay Plus?
A: The Student ID can be found under My Backpack which is located on you’re My SPCA page.
Q: If I have lunch with my child, what will be the price of my meal?
A: The meal price for parents is $6.50 and includes choice of entrée, 2 sides, dessert, and choice of beverage. This amount can be debited from your students account or paid in cash. We will not have the ability to process credit cards. Items can also be purchased a la carte.
Q: What are the beverage options?
A: We will offer 2% chocolate milk, 2% milk, skim milk, fruitables juice box, bottled water, orange juice, and apple juice.
Q: Is there a dessert offered daily, and what will that be?
A: Our initial offerings for dessert will include brownie squares, rice krispie treats, chocolate chip cookies, fresh fruit salad, peach cobbler, and banana pudding on a rotating basis.
Q. Does it cost anything to use Meal Pay Plus online?
A. There is no cost for setting up an account online that will allow you to view transaction history as well as receive low balance alerts. If you process a payment online, you will incur a processing fee of 4.75%. This fee goes to the credit card processor and Meal Pay Plus for processing the payment.
Q. If I have money in my account at the end of the semester will it carry over to the next semester.
A. Yes. If you have purchased the meal plan or applied funds for a declining balance and have not used all of the funds, these funds will carry over to the next semester.
Q. If I had a balance with the previous vendor will those funds be applied to my child's account?
A. Yes. The funds that were left in your student’s account have already been applied to this year’s account.
Q. If my student is on the meal plan will they be able to purchase additional items a la carte?
A. They will have the ability to purchase additional items a la carte. If a parent would like their child to be limited to the meal plan only, we can put an alert in the system which will let us know that no additional purchases are allowed.
